Ethos and Values

Some of the values we hold close to our hearts in the SWM Academy are:

 Respect
Giving
Honesty
Friendship
Leadership
Prayer
Blended Life

These values are woven into all we do.

As a result of our shared beliefs and values the following are examples of behaviours
we would expect to find within the members of the Academy:

  • Regular commitment and participation in the Academy
  • The treatment of other members with grace, respect, courtesy, forgiveness and Christian love
  • Honesty and co-operation in our interactions, timekeeping and work practice
  • Commitment to good stewardship of the Academy’s resources

The following is a non-exhaustive list of matters would normally result in removal from the group:

  • Giving false or misleading information during the application process
  • Deliberate falsification or misrepresentation to the advantage of oneself
  • Breach of trust or discussing the affairs of other members
  • Bullying or harassing of other members
  • Malicious behaviour
